Included in the impairment gains in the current year are ECL movements on loans to group companies of R4.9 million, resulting from a significant improvement in the Moody’s outlook given that the COVID-19 pandemic is seemingly under control. In addition, the Glocell guarantee was released in the current year, resulting in a R35 million adjustment to the ECL. Refer to note 12 for further details. |
